Nichole Schoolcraft has been the technician at Church Hill Animal Hospital since August, 2006. At an early age, Nichole began working in pet stores learning about animal care and nutrition. In 2001, she continued her career as a veterinary assistant at the Veterinary Emergency Center, and she met Dr. Jack the same year while working at another veterinary hospital. Nichole graduated from St. Petersburg College, Florida as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in December of 2009. Her interests include radiology, hematology, anesthesiology, exotic pets and performing dentals. Nichole would, one day, like to produce public service announcements aimed at educating the community on the importance of animal care and welfare.

Lisa Fenn

Vet Technician - Lisa Fens

Lisa has always had an interest in veterinary medicine and knew from a very early age she wanted a career involving animals. Having started her career in veterinary medicine in 2000, she has over 15 years of experience in the field. She earned her veterinary technology degree from Blue Ridge Community College in 2014, passed her state boards and obtained her state license to practice in Virginia the same year. After 5 years at Church Hill Animal Hospital, Lisa has had ample opportunity to utilize her degree to the fullest. Although happy with her current position as a licensed veterinary technician, Lisa intends to further her certifications and education; specifically in the area of small animal dentistry and surgery which will allow her to perform more invasive medical procedures. Although obtaining a DVM degree is never out of the question for her, Lisa is enjoying her recent accomplishments, and as with everything, prefers to take her education one step at a time.

Lisa enjoys spending time with her own animals, 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 birds in her limited free time as well as working out regularly. Having purchased her first home nearly 2 years ago, decorating and home improvements are also responsibilities that keep her busy. Finally, coming from a very large family, keeping up with her many sibling and 26 nieces and nephews, is a continuous but priceless adventure!
